Program: A Seminar on “Developments of ISRO”
Theme: Exploration of Engineering
An Induction program for the First year B. Tech program was held. Sri. Y. Siva Prasad, a Retired. Scientist of ISRO was the resource person for this program. In this program he explained the various aspects of research that was going on ISRO.
He explain the various stages of Chandrayaan vividly and he asked the students to know the differences between different explorations. He made it clear all the wonderful victories ISRO had in his cap. He also spoke at length about the uniqueness of ISRO’s programs.
He carried with him the models of various rockets like PSLV-1, PSLV-2 and demonstrated their working using PPT. He insisted on the acquiring knowledge about space science which has many opportunities for young scientists and engineers.
